As promised, ur second team of the day: #9 Georgia Bulldogs
9-3, and more rumblings for
- First and foremost, you have to choose a QB whose name is either Brice or Grayson. Srsly.
- Prior to last season, Georgia was +2 in turnover margin since 2008. In 2014? +16. Wat.
- Draw Auburn and Alabama from the West, and have to end the season with arguably the best GT team since 2008.
- Their top returning receiver is a dude named Jeb. I don't even have a joke here.
- Meet the new offensive coordinator:
- 3 of the top 4 tacklers are gone.
- Mark Richt appeared in Facing the Giants. That alone has, and should, cost them at least 1 game per season since.
- I'll predict Kentucky as the "tripping over our own dick" game of the UGA season.
- Outside of running the football (which they will be great at), what do you trust this team to do well?
- I mean, did you read the first bullet point? The fact that they are even considering starting a QB who couldn't cut it at Virginia should tell you all you need to know.
- Marshall, Kolton, Jeb, Brice, Grayson, Brendan, Kendall, Aulden, Sage, Sterling...LAX BROZ 4 LYFE or HUNKER DOWN U HAIRY DAWGS?
Tommy BowdenMark Richt to be let go...

damn, whose dick is barry sucking? No tOSU, MSU, UM, or PSU for Whisky. Lawd.
Pretty good analysis, Wiscy loses a lot, and it's always hard to lose a whole staff. However, I don't agree with knocking Chryst. He looks to be a very good coach to me, and especially at Wiscy. Give him two years and I think he has Wiscy in good shape. I am excited to see what Chryst can do at Wisconsin.Today it's a closer look at #18 Wisconsin. An 11 win season and beat an ESS EE SEE team in a bowl game? Shirley you can't be serious that this team is going to suck?
Minimum of 4 losses for the Badgers. And with that schedule, that will not elicit happiness in Chryst's first year. I'll let this kind fan take it away:
- Sconnie's defense allowed their fewest yards since 2007, but saw their points allowed increase to their highest since '90. What gives?
- As usual, Wisconsin will be limited to their QB play, which directly correlates to the first point. a -9 TO ratio is to blame for the ppg allowed.
- But the play should be better, right? Except that it won't. Stave regressed considerably in 2014, where he had the luxury of an excellent OL and the best RB in the country. Now, he's losing that RB, along with 2 1st team All B1G performers on the OL.
- Only 11 returning starters. Losses include the Doak Walker Award winner, 2 1st team All-B1G OL, their best pass rusher, and the entire coaching staff.
- Speaking of the new staff, enter Paul Chryst. He, of the "below .500 in the ACC" fame,
- After the opener against Alabama, the schedule looks Charmin-soft. Until you realize that this team didn't play well on the road against vastly inferior competition. Then add in that they face arguably the 2nd and 3rd best B1G West teams on the road (Nebraska and Minnesota) and this looks like another 10-2 season at best, with 40 lbs of rape waiting in the B1G title game again, and a likely bowl loss.

Alrighty then. I'm about to leave the office, but I'll hit Klimpson and Oregon tomorrow.

Utopia is great. Whitey can't post the rest not because of work, but because he's leaving work.
I will be conducting a series of interviews of people who I think make this place rock. My hope is to eventually interview everyone, but I will start with some of the "older" members. If anyone is interested in being interviewed just shoot me a PM.
Mariota was a once in a generation type of player who protected the football. His 3 years resulted in +21, +11 and +23 in turnover margin. There is no way that number stays as high in 2015.
This is fair. Especially early last year, Mariota dug them out of quite a few games. That Arizona loss at home was pretty inexcusable (to a true frosh QB), and his first season was an Alamo Bowl win. If Adams is merely good, the offense should be pretty unstoppable though. Even with Tyner out, this is by far the deepest they've ever been at all of the skill positions in my opinion.I think we might look back at this year and see it as what made Helfrich or what broke him. I'm not convinced by him as a coach. I think if you take away Mariota from that team the past 2 years, you're looking at a borderline top 25 team, considering the strength of the Pac 12. If Oregon has a mediocre QB this year, I could easily see them regressing quite a bit. I think the odds are decent that they find a good QB from what they have there. But if they don't, I think we look back on this year say that's what started the decline under Helfrich.
They were not young, and many of them are returning this year. They brought in two JUCOs I think, but I'm not expecting much. They were terrible in those games, yes.Was Oregon really young at linebacker last year? Or are they going to be playing a bunch of newcomers? Either way, the crew they had back there sucked last season and was the biggest reason OSU (and FSU before they imploded) gashed them on the ground in the playoffs.
Oh for hells sake who cares. Half the current top 25 is only ranked on name
