And to be fair, Rutgers should be winning. Had the ball inside the 10 on the first drive of the game and got no points, because of a penalty and a sack, and had 1st and goal at the 2, and got no points.

Doubtful. Their next 4 games are @Michigan, OSU, @Iowa, and Nebraska. Lose 2 of those and they're probably behind the eight ball. If they lose to Nebraska they're going to struggle to make the title game, no matter what their other results are.

Probably right, but the West is a big tossup. Iowa's back to normal levels, Minnesota who knows, Maybe Nebraska. Is 6-3 conference record enough to get in from the west? probably.

If Iowa is shitty, Nebraska has a pretty wide open path to the title game if they beat Wisconsin. They dodge Michigan, MSU, and Penn State from the East, so their schedule is pretty easy.
