lol. Oh im not complaining. I've read through the previous draft/offseason threads that took a month to finish, lol. Im just ready to be able to do something with my team/move some pieces around, haha.

Yeah I mean if you have put out IFA offers then you have stuff to do each sim because they respond quickly. FA can take a while sometimes. Get your rosters set or make a trade.

You guys should know that it is by design that guys arent signing right now. That's the reason we only go 2days. It is so teams have an adequate chance to counter offer, when we start simming 5 days at a time tonight guys will start droppin like flies.

A couple young, high ceiling prospects. He is one of the better hitters in the league, under 30 and cheap.

Not to mention that even if you don't re-sign him, you get him for atleast 2 years as he is signed through 2042. The only thing that throws me off on him, @Orlando is that he is extremely good vs RH but drops off a good bit vs LH.

Have you guys ever noticed if a pitcher's stamina increases as he progresses through the minors? Say you get a guy with 45 stamina...can it jump up to 50, 55, 60? Or does it just stay at 45?

I think I only had 20-22 starts against LHP last year. Seems like there's just not a lot of LHSP in the league.

According to team home pages there are just six in the NL including my two

Check out the player development report on your players and it'll tell you if it's happened with anyone.

It can, idk if the rating actually changes though. What i mean by that is my scout jumps 5 points up and down on players month to month. I doubt their real ratings change but who knows. I have seen minor increases and decreases in stamina tho

Yeah I normally just see decreases for guys who pitch in the pen full time, but were starters originally.

Is there a reason why 95% of my guys don't have pictures? I've noticed the draft pool guys don't have pictures either. Again, j/w

Check Falachia (sp?) on my AAA team. Was a RP and I converted him to a hitter and am trying him out at 1B. He's 35 DEF there after about 70 starts there...

Tapia and Furzer got about 50 grand more than I offered. Tomero got a 500,000 more than i offered.

Yeah he had some decent infield ratings though. I wanted to move The Alchemist to 1B because his defense in the OF is terrible despite his ratings because is so damn slow.

I got Tapia. I also signed I guy I thought I pulled an offer from. Luckily he was only like $182k

Forget about this. Only on the website is it an issue. The actual game it is fine.

however, am still having the issue where the main logo at the top left of my team homepage is the generic "K" logo given by the sim. The rest of the logos including hats and jerseys are fine though

yeah I did them right after I put them in, I'm going to have to load it up again now that I've saved the league. I'm assuming it doesn't create them all into the directory until that happens.

From a thread on the ootp forums:
In a simulating environment, If your not using 7-day lineups don't bother trying to do it. You need to have 99.9% control of when and where the guys plays. One thing that I do is from the very beginning I set him on a schedule. So on day 1 of the 7-day lineup screen he Pitches, Day 2 Rest, Day 3 rest, day 4 plays position, day 5 plays position, day 6 plays position day 7 rest...then the next 7 days the schedule repeats. The key here is having a day off before and after he pitches (Preferably 2 days after he pitches)

Things like natural days off can alter your schedule and they are your best friend because you really want to work his pitching appearances around the scheduled days off so you lose as little development time as possible in the field while the guy is recovering from pitching. so pitching them immediately before or after a scheduled day off is the ideal situation.

Also note this is a lot easier to do when using the player in a role as a Starter cause as a MR unless you're playing out the games it just doesn't really work out at all.

What I do is change the players position to SP (If it isn't that already) Put him in his slot on day one of the 7-day line up then drop him in the appropriate day replacing the position player of the position he will play.

Draft date in the game, then I import the draft file and it completes it for us. Picks from rounds 3ish-15 will go straight to A unless they demand a bonus, the rest will go after they have been offered what they want.

If he's on a Minor league team maybe have him start every sixth day and limited his PC I think you could do it. The issue is you want him to play as much as possible. So the rest status deals with pitching and fielding the same (which I actually agree with) so he can't just continue playing.

IMO if you had a guy who was a LH specialist and a PH who plays every once in a while as a position player it'd work. Now we are in DH mode IMO it has less value because you don't need PHs as much.
