If its true, this trade is a fucking home run for the braves. That report came from the braves website that those players are involved. I sure hope so. Inciarte and Swanson would have me jacked but to get a Top 60 pitcher as well would be mindblowing. I'm hoping its true.

hell yes. Dbacks give up a top 10 prospect, an outfielder that is 25 years old and already has a season hitting .300 under his belt and a Top 60 prospect pitcher for a guy that threw his fastball 88% of the time last season. LOL. Thanks!

Braves now have 6 Top 100 prospects and 3 in the Top 30. 6 months ago they had 2 top 100 prospects and 0 in the Top 30. Bravo.

Look at this idiot

The Braves turned one year of Heyward (and Walden) into Swanson, Blair, Inciarte, and Tyrell Jenkins. Perfect execution of the buy low, sell high on Shelby. Now go sign Heyward haha

Interested in how they handle Swanson seeing as Albies was seen as the long term answer at SS. Could see Swanson playing 2B with Albies at short.

I mean could their rotation even be considered Top 5 in the league after this deal? Their 4-5 pitchers are still awful beyond reason and Miller has funky peripherals anyways. It's not even 3 prospects since Inciarte is already putting out the same WAR that Miller is :thumbsup:

woke up this morning and still can't believe the Dbacks gave the Braves all that for a pitcher that throws his fastball 88% of the time

That's way too nerdy for me.

We have Mike Maddux now, he's going to turn bums like Leake into complete stud ace number flipping one frontline studs.

From my skimming through, TN;DR take on the article, Mike Leake has been a pretty average pitcher and doesn't strike many people out so far but will get paid pretty high.

Baseball stats are obsessed with Ks right now.

I never realized how dumb ERA+ is. They should really replace that with ERA- in OOTP.

Hmm apparently the Leake stuff has cooled and now they're going after a couple of solid RPs.

Vincent Velazquez, Derek fisher, Brett oberholtzer and someone for Giles.

If the 4th guy is a big prospect then the Phillies got a great deal. If not, then it's fairly even.
