Yeah, I saw him say "we have a chart" after the game. I guess that's the coach equivalent of the government's "everyone followed protocol" argument.

Uhh, if your chart tells you to go up 13 rather than 14 with 10 minutes left, the fucking chart is wrong.

I'm glad I don't like Butch Jones and that I hate Tejas. These last few weeks have been fun.

Also I was just telling my dad last week (after Al Golden got a PF during Miami's collapse against Nebraska) that I couldn't remember the last time a head coach managed to pick up a personal foul during such an important part of the game.

It only took Charlie Strong 7 days to trump it.

They're 1-3 and have TCU, OU, and KSU next up. Nice.

Even being 1-6 doesn't get you canned in your second year, does it?

Probably not. First, I don't think there's a slam dunk hire Texas can go out and get. Secondly, they fucked up the AD situation so bad you can't have an interim AD fire the football coach before a new permanent AD gets hired months later.

Chalrie would be best served to get away from that dumpster fire tho

Their biggest booster also gave up his box and is distancing hisself from the program. Charlie's a dead man walking, but survives this season unless OU whoops that ass.

Everything I've ever heard is that he's a loathsome prick, so I'm in this camp as well. Think Mark Stoops is a better coach overall than him as well.

Strong needs to be at a southern school. In fact, I think he'd do really well at Miami given his recruiting connections down there. Hell, you know the 'Canes will at least get back to playing aggressive, in your face defense.

UCLA is #7 and Oregon is unranked in the AP poll, which makes far more sense.

Shouldn't be surprised. The bottom five are for brand name teams and conferences. A team like Oregon or Florida is going to be ranked every time over the others. You think the coaches voting can even name a player or even coach on some of the teams (Memphis as an example)? Nah.

Chris Broussard would vote for Mempis doe.

On one hand I think our D is as advertised.

On the other hand every time I buy into this program under Holgorsen, something fucking stupid happens and we go on a losing streak.
