Wait until a team is eliminated. That's when the injuries get disclosed. There was one year where Ryan Clowe had to get the trainers to put his shoulder pads on his shoulder was so effed. I think Thornton had a fractured wrist that series too.

You're thinking of Patrice Bergeron. Wasn't his spleen, only a broken rib and torn cartilige. He may be the toughest hockey player.

Yeah I know they don't tell who has what going on until they are eliminated. It's just crazy what these dudes will give up for the chance. I have a battle going on with my brain/heart here where half says these dudes are dumb as hell but half says this is how life should be. Hung out with our hockey team a lot in college so I know a bit of the basics but just never really cared besides the playoffs, which means I have to re-learn the game every year.

Meh hockey. Like 3 rungs below the NHL (NHL->AHL-> ECHL-> CHL). Guys that play in the junior league (1 rung below the WHL) here get signed to that league (or one like it) on a regular basis. Probably has a shitloads of fights though.
