Sad thing is Fleury has probably been the Pens best player this series (especially tonight), but once they lose this game all of the blame will be put on him and Letang by the Pittsburgh media.

Also, Pens would be getting swept tonight against any other team in the playoffs.

Can't forget about Letang's "Flyer-like" new contract either.

Lulz that was a worse goal than when Fleury tore his ACL behind the net. Lest not forget that Byslma chose Orpik over Jack Johnson for the Olympics.

What a bizarre series thus far. 2-2 is probably the right tally, but not in the order it has happened. I ain't mad about it, doe.

Sums it up just about right. Pens reclaim home ice, but Fleury is now broken and their options are an AHL guy and a guy who hasn't played a game this year. 4 years of Fleury implosions, just insane that Shero didn't do something this last summer. But it's all coming to a head now and a slew of players/management will be gone.

Keenan did a good job of keeping him "under control." He went off the deep end after Holmgren replaced Keenan as corch.

Woke up today still completely pumped from last night, just spent 5 minutes of my work day watching and laughing at the Fleury gif above.

Good day so far.

Bylsma criticizes the Penguins effort last night. Bylsma gives the team the day off today.

ALL IN.

Hockey players play regular season games with broken faces, but Jimmy Howard misses a playoff game because of the flu? That's some bush league shit.

Avs look even worse than they did in game 3 so far. This is as bad as I've seen them play all year.

Another net completely open and the shot wasn't even close. Wow that was terrible, he literally had to be trying to miss that lol

Ugh. Avs outshot 14-3 in the first period. They're going to be lucky to get a goal in Minnesota at this rate. This feels too much like the Avs under Sacco right now.

If Marchand just shoots it in the net when absolutely no one is in the way, games been over for a while.

The Avs look so uninterested in playing this game.. If not for a few solid saves by Varlamov, this one could be ugly already

The last one was just baffling. The net was completely open and he was in close too. All he has to do is redirect it and it's a goal. Basically the only thing he could have done in that position to miss was the exact shot he made. Unreal

The Red Wings started out well but the Bruins just seem like the better squad. The Red Wings seem to constantly be fucking up and the Bruins just aren't capitalizing.

Rask has been ridiculously good all game though. I'm an NHL noob so read my words with that in mind. The Rangers play tomorrow. I can't wait.

Look at that last shot. The Bruins are going to win if they keep getting opportunities like that no?

Yup, no one before last night gave the finger to a hockey player before....but, you know, Philly.

Detroit had to have that one. Boston had some amazing missed opportunities but just seemed to take over the longer the game went.

Those gifs have nothing to do with the mad Philly fan with the fingers.

It's just awesome to me how intense the series has been and that final fuck you goal to remove all doubt last game was especially sick to me. He gets put in the box for a bullshit penalty, comes out, puts in the dagger goal, then taunts the fuck out of the crowd. I'm new to hockey but I went to my first game ever earlier this season and became an instant fan. The sport is awesome. It's better live then on TV but there isn't some huge gap to me. It's still awesome.

I wish I gave this sport more of a chance years ago. Hell I wish I played back in HS or something.

Sorry, @Keith1212, everybody else who's posted that picture or sent it to me has had some back-handed comment about Philly fans to go with it.

Insipid performance by the Avalanche. These were the worst 2 games I've seen them play all year. I don't know if they even got 10 shot this game. That says it all.

And now game 5 is basically a must win. I have no confidence in the Avs winning in Minnesota after those two performances.
