MSG has a contract with the Big East through 2026. Might be waiting a while

MSG will get out of it soon. There's no one at these games and it's sad they put the Big East logo in the middle of the court. FS1 keeps trying to push the "tradition" angle which is also sad considering the level of play, environment in this BET is about at the level of a WCC.

Barclays is great for the ACC. Duke always plays in the NYC area, Syracuse will draw, Notre Dame has a huge NYC fan base, Pitt/BC will represent well, etc.. The attendance of the 2nd round games in Greensboro was awful. Not even that full last night. No one wants to travel there and at least NYC is a destination city and Barclays is a great venue.

A10 will be happy leaving Barclay's for DC (or Pittsburgh) too because apart of their deal all A10 teams get to play an ACC team at the Barclay's during the season.

I could definitely see the B1G moving to MSG on a rotation.

Sparty dropping dat RAPE hammer. Scary 4 seed.

I'd like to think so, too, because it's Izzo. But this is the first time since January that they've won back to back games. And they're also 7-7 over their last 14. I think they're just as likely to lose in the first round as they are to make a run.

I think it would be a mistake - and would probably be the same as the current Big East tournament this year: less fans and thus much worse atmosphere. Big East tourney used to draw big when the top teams were UConn, Syracuse, and even Pittsburgh (which is closer than almost all Big Ten schools).

What is happening now is exactly what the Big Ten tourney would be like there, with teams like Creighton (Nebraska), DePaul (Chicago), Butler (Indiana), Xavier (Cincinnati), Marquette (Wisconsin)... People from that far away are not going to attend the game as well as they would if it were in Chicago/Indianapolis.

My bold prediction today is that ACC will get 6 teams, meaning either State or FSU will get in. People might be pissed about it.

Viewing the ACC Shampship game on Watch ESPN surround. No commercials or Dickie V. Heaven. Loving they are continuing to do this for college broadcasts. BCS Title game was awesome as well.

This is just like Bennett's best Wazzu teams. Just a lot of guys who do most things very well and play hard. No "specialists". All can score, but none will hog the ball. Unselfish. Looks like Harris holds them together. I like the young PG. Solid.

That "foul" is hilarious. Lol at Dickie V trying to convince himself Duke still has a chance.

Well deserved, UVA is legit.

They are definitely a 2 seed and should be in consideration for the #1, although I'm sure Michigan would get it if they win.

Here's to hoping State and Arizona State are amongst the last four in, and we get a Gottfried vs. Sendek match-up. I salivate at the opportunity.

You think Kansas deserves a 2 seed with Embiid's injury up in the air?

ETA: Apparently the committee didn't care about it.

One of the toughest schedules ever recorded I think had a lot to do with it. Seems like the committee puts a lot more weight on SOS than people talk about too.

None of Nebrasky, Dayton, BYU are in the play-in games, which just about everyone had some order of them as their last 4 in. Tennessee/SMU/Xavier bumped down have to be 3 of those teams, assuming they even made it in.
