Somehow ran across the full FSU vs Michigan game from 1991 on youtube yesterday. I had to laugh a little at the size difference between the offensive line back then and today

1991 Noles
T - R.Stevenson -272
G - Reggie Dixon - 284
C - Robbie Baker - 250
G - Mike Morris - 272
T - Kevin Mancini - 272

2014 Noles
T - Cameron Erving - 320
G - Josue Matias - 322
C - Austin Barron - 295
G - Tre Jackson - 330
T - Bobby Hart - 315

Somebody in the FSU social media department really shit the bed on this one.
Earlier today, a bright mind in Tallahassee devised the genius plan of allowing the public to submit questions through Twitter to their controversial superstar quarterback using #AskJameis.
Jameis has been a handful since he first found the college football spotlight, with incidents ranging from an alleged rape, to a bench clearing brawl during a baseball game, and evenstealing crab legs from Publix. With that pretty little list of incidents in his past, it’s a surprise that anyone in Tallahassee could have thought opening Jameis up to questions from the general public was a solid idea.

The original tweet was released at 9:13 a.m. this morning.

Innocent enough, right? Well, the trolls caught on quickly, and the outlandish questions began pouring in.
The Q&A started off fairly tame.

@FSU_Football #AskJameis which matchup are you looking forward to most this year?
10:17 AM - 10 Aug 2014

However, it didn’t take long for it to get real ugly.

What's easier to get rid of; crabs you just lifted from Publix or crabs you picked up from an unconscious chick you just banged? #AskJameis

Thankfully, mixed it with the rape and crab legs tweets were a nice variety of bizarre, yet hilarious questions for the quarterback.

#AskJameis In your opinion, was the Cold War inevitable? If not, was the United States or the USSR more to blame? Was we scrong?@FSU_Football aside from your game, how much has your use/comprehension of the English language improved this offseason? #AskJameis#AskJameis Bro you went Undeafted on the field. And also in the court room. Do you consider yourself the next OJ?#AskJameis if the Publix employees at check out are in man coverage and you're running a read-option with the crab legs, what do you do?

Not the first time they have done something dumb like that.

You'd think those ppl would monitor how bad it went for robin thicke or Roger Goodell lol.

Can't wait to be in dallas in a few weeks.

Will be driving home to seattle from pt lookout michigan starting on the 22nd to catch my flight.

Going to wing it this weekend. Leave tomorrow morning for Dallas. Going to try and buy 4 tickets off scalpers. If not, eff it. Hit a bar in Arlington then.

Well, that was interesting last night, but hey W is a W.

3 Thought's about the game.

1) Beatty you suck.
2) Hopeful that we can find a better center than Barron.
3) Did I mention how much Beatty suck? If we were to lose a game this year, it will because of our freaking punter.:emo:

Also Karlos Williams grandmother passed away yesterday morning. That sucks. :(

Had a good time at the game.

Disappointed in our defensive showing. Did we even register a sack? Our WR corps needs to step up. Greene wont be able to turn in 203 yard games every week. And why didn't we work on running the ball more? We have as good an oline as there is in the country. And it felt like we didn't try to be physical between the trenches. Instead we ran that fancy off tackle handoff from shotgun that either works or gets blown the fuck up. I felt like from the running game we were out coached.

Defense need work as well. OSU is a good team but after the first qtr we got lit up pretty good.

Winston made some terrible decisions. That interception in the red zone really changed the momentum of the game. But he could had easily thrown a pick the play before. It was behind the receiver.

We also looked undisciplined. Stupid penalties that cost us.

This week is the citadel. Should give us some time to practice up and get this offense and defense more in sync before Clemson comes to town.

I'm hoping it was more two good teams playing good football and less Florida state trying to Florida state to get my hopes up.

Our defensive line really played well. Winston looked so uncomfortable out there and I was so impressed with the pass rush considering we never had one prior to 2013 (2011 an exception).

Yeah, but they don't have the same standard of proof that a criminal prosecutor does.

Right, but if they wanted to expel him there is enough in the public investigation to do it. The school interviewing the woman is just a formality in my opinion. They are required by law to open this investigation. I'd suspect without the law the school would leave it alone.

Jameis is going to be a disaster of a human being when he "grows up". Granted I'm biased in that I don't like the guy based on the limited evidence I have, but, imo, he's got mike vick red flags all over the place. Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe he'll turn out alright, but I don't see any infrastructure or discipline that gives him impetus to not become a fuck up.

I'm guessing they can't expel him without doing the investigation and having a hearing (well, I'm not sure about the first part, but the second part is definitely true). We went through this at Michigan last year. Our kicker allegedly raped a girl. Police didn't pursue the case because the victim didn't pursue it. But the school did this investigation and expelled him. I'm just saying that this is not over yet for Florida State.

Kickers get the boot. Multi-million dollar value qb's don't. Jameis would have to behead someone on the 50 yard line as a proxy member of ISIS to get expelled, and even then the expulsion would be reviewed and down graded to a one game suspension.

And wasn't your kicker already done with football? How brave of Michigan :D I'd expect if they do expel him it will be the same. It will happen after he is already declared for the draft. If they wanted him gone. They could had held a hearing and booted him using the investigations report in my opinion. This investigation is required by law.

Yeah, that whole thing was a debacle. To be fair, he missed the bowl game and the OSU game though

I see what you're saying now. I think you'll probably end up being right. But there's a chance something could happen before then.

This was a great day for FSU.

George Campbell committed in the morning. Also look like Chris Casher will play tomorrow.

Land Malik Beasley and Dwayne Bacon.

We should renovate the Tuck every year!

Didnt we also get a 4 star DT on Sunday?

Looks like Matthew Thomas is on the skids. What a shame. Any idea what he did?
I think you talking about Darvin Taylor. He committed on Aug. 28.

About Thomas, well the rumor on twitter that he fails the drug test at Rose Bowl. Base on what I found on twitter, if he wins his appeal. He may just miss first six games instead of a year.

Next time lets pick a small school to play, which doesn't run the freaking triple option.:emo:

Oh yeah, let not forget Citadel keep going after our players' knees with their chop block. I quit caring about the score. Hoping our players will be OK after this game.

Had 3 DL players goes down tonight. Lets hope it's not too serious.

Yeah, I saw something online about Eddie Goldman being in a walking boot. Unfortunate. Never wanna see these kids miss significant time. Hopefully both Clemson and FSU are relatively healthy with an extra week to rest/prepare. I'm not feeling confident at all in Clemson, for obvious reasons, but it's usually a hard-fought contest.
