2052 DRAFT

It's okay with me since I first sent it the way of the Little Rock system in our latest alliance treaty deal. The guy you're going to draft is a great player but I'm still okay with the Blanks deal, they are pretty even imo.

I mean he gave up one of the best SP prospects in the league for the pick so I doubt a 2nd rounder entices him to give up the guy. Maybe if it was your 1st next year too.

#9 prospect in THE WORLD to move up three slots. Plus the best name and best player ever in the HUNGER GAMES. Drain gonna murder me since he can't fire me.

@bruin228 da real winner here (sort of despite) all the chatter in here. Vader plus two top five picks (adding one and retaining one), he can do work this draft season. Factoring in last draft he's basically Moneyballing against the Draft Day movie.

From my perspective, organizational philosophy plus Costner plus hometown kid come on home. It's only fun if you're having fun.

The 2048 class was the one good class and that was the first one I was a part of. The rest of these have made want to kill myself.

I will mention that we've had the draft talent "problem" since long before the feeders. They changed the draft system last year to be more like

-Players have lower ceilings but many players end up exceed those ratings

instead of

-Players have higher ceilings but many inexplicably collapse and die

This seems like a weird dichotomy, but hey, indy devs. I was losing my mind the first couple of drafts after they changed the system.

Also OOTP leagues have a way of working out talent issues. They kind of self balance. And there is supposed to be ebbs and flows to a league that is spanning decades and will eventually lead us to the stars.

I went back and looked at some of the top picks from the 2050 draft class and seen how they've developed. NERRRRDDD

One thing that struck me was how @ZackMills and I had a very similar draft in that we both took two of the top Catcher prospects and two of the top outfield prospects, all of them in the top 50 prospects in the WBL now.

2 years later I really like how my guys are developing so far. Neither has died and Vigil had a nice first year in A ball and another good start in his second year, so I just bumped him up to AA. Nazih had a good first year in A but is now struggling in his second season for some reason, but his ratings have still improved nicely, so he should be ready for AA some time next year. For ZM, Karshev struggled last year but is hitting well now in A ball. Castillo played well in A ball this year and has struggled a bit in has AA appearances, but is still developing nicely. I will enjoy watching these players develop in the future.

When are you promoting Isam? Karshev's stats make me wanna promote him, but his ratings are still shitty.

If he was hitting well this year I was going to promote him mid season, but he's not so I'll probably wait till next year. On the ratings, remember OSA only rates them once per year so they may have improved a lot since then. Have ur scout give you a report. If they have a green UP arrow you are probably good too.

I thought Isam was around Karshev's age. He's two years older. Looks like you are pulling a @Reel keeping the man down in A ball after a solid first year.

Because I had BAM BAM in AA (before trading him). Probably should move him up, but I'm not very confident in what to do with young players either.

doh

THANK YOU Dermott McHeshi
OK I will change it. I just have no clue what 1-1, 1-4 means (one of those picks came from another team) for me to update/I never update once the draft starts.

My scout always loves some guy that falls to me in the 2nd round. The last two have looked Booty so far so let's see what happens.

Didn't know this movie also occurred in Spacetopia. Taheeha or mahoha. He sees nothing, cuz Ray ain't there. He teleported 6 yards to the left.
