Because the north course is more fun and a better layout. The south is great for pro golf, but it’s really boring. It’s a classic Rees Jones - fairway bunkers on both sides on most holes, terrible use of the land, and long holes. If you want to shoot 100 while never getting close to the cliffs, it’s great though.

Torrey does have a great deal for locals vs. visitors. It’s one thing they do really well.
