Looks like they struggled in the red zone, as they were at 76% scoring on offense, while their opponents were 90%. 57% vs 74% for redzone TDs.

They were also -11 in turnovers. Bad times in Nagodoches. OL gave up twice as many sacks as SFA got.

My alma mater. Last year was not pretty. There were 5 games where we scored 40+ points and lost and another where we scored 38 and still lost. Primary reason we got a new coach this year.

Just how the scheduling worked out this ear. They usually try to avoid kickoffs that intersect with Bama/Auburn. If they do, attendance suffers. Plebs walk into the stadium in crimson and blue.

Charlotte loses a close one. With 8 seconds left & down by 7, the 49ers had the ball just 22 yards from paydirt. QB drops back and gets hurried, he spins to avoid a sack, runs into his own lineman, then throws a TD pass to the near right corner of the end zone. Too bad he threw the pass from the 20 yard line. Illegal forward pass, loss of down, game over. 20-13 Elon over Charlotte.

Western Carolina @ Furman is on WCCB channel 18 in the Charlotte metro area. Western up 7-0.

Looks like Charlotte is going to lose a nail-biter to Gardner-Webb 27-24. Last year, Charlotte trailed by 21 points at home in the 4th quarter and came back to win.

At least we had some kick ass helmets this week :thumbsup:

If I'm not mistaken, the Harvard-Dartmouth game will be covered by NBCSN, so it's sure to be a big deal if you can access the match online or on the telly.

23-12 winning ugly win for Harvard over Dartmouth. The Cantabs overcome the ghost of Bob Blackman to up their record to 7-0 with three games to play. Here comes the trap game with the traps from Columbia...next week.
