Team: LA Galaxy

Best Case Scenario: MLS Cup #5

Worst Case Scenario: Low seed and an early playoff exit. I don't see this team missing the playoffs unless there's a rash of serious injuries to key players.

Fan Favorite: I don't know about everybody else, but I love Keane on this team. No nonsense attitude. Give me ball...I will score. He also teaches (read: scolds) the young players on the pitch during the games.

Young Player To Look Out For On Your Team: Zardes isn't a secret anymore, but I just have a feeling he might really take off this year.

Player You Would Like To Drive To Another Club: I don't really dislike anybody on the team, and truthfully I don't pay enough attention to salaries to know who might be a 'bad investment.' I was against the Rogers deal because I think it was partly a PR stunt, and I really didn't want to let go of Magee. But I don't hate Rogers. Seems like a good dude. I just hope he can recapture a bit of form this season.

Opposition Player You Secretly Admire: Thierry Henry. I'll have to think of a new answer next year (sticking with Snorky's answer here. I could think of someone else, but I really do like appreciate what Henry did in the past and can still do).

Opposition Player You Openly Despise: Lenhart. Lenhart, Lenhart, Lenhart. Also, Lenhart.

Do You Have The Right Owner: Yep.

Do You Have The Right Manager: Yep.

What Advice Do You Have For The Manager: Wouldn't presume to give Arena advice. Seems to know what he's doing.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change At Your Club: Don't know exactly what to do, but some sort of advertising, promotions, etc. to get "new" butts in seats....or at least watching on TV. It's the league's glamour franchise, and still, most people who live in this area don't follow the Galaxy. Even my brother, for example, who like me grew up playing soccer and is a big Chelsea fan, only loosely pays attention to MLS.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change In MLS: How different schedules can be, when you factor in CCL, friendlies, etc. to postpone MLS games. There are points in seasons where, for example, LA might have played 4 or 5 fewer games than Seattle. Crazy.

Where Will You Finish: Top 3 in West.

Who Wins MLS Cup: LA or New York

Will An MLS Team Win The CONCACAF Champions League: It has to happen eventually, right?

Who Wins The World Cup: Brazil (staying with Snorky here again)

Will The US Get Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: Yes. Germany 1, US 2.

Does A CONCACAF Team Make It Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: USA! USA! USA!

Team: New York City FC

Best Case Scenario: Gareth Barry, Gael Clichy, and Marcos Lopes are the DPs

Worst Case Scenario: Chivas USA

Fan Favorite: Jason Kreis

Young Player To Look Out For On Your Team: N/A

Player You Would Like To Drive To Another Club: N/A

Opposition Player You Secretly Admire: Diego Fagundez

Opposition Player You Openly Despise: IDK

Do You Have The Right Owner: $$$$$$ Yes

Do You Have The Right Manager: Kreis is awesome. I think he's the perfect fit, with MLS experience, and he'll probably end up coaching the US one day. Plus he's spending time with the Man City staff right now which should be helpful.

What Advice Do You Have For The Manager: N/A

What Is The One Thing You Would Change At Your Club: I wish they were playing this year

What Is The One Thing You Would Change In MLS: No salary cap  Maybe a Domestic DP slot like in the Australian league where USMNT players don't take up a DP slot.

Where Will You Finish: N/A

Who Wins MLS Cup: SKC

Will An MLS Team Win The CONCACAF Champions League: Not this year

Who Wins The World Cup: Espana

Will The US Get Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: Not unless CR7 isn't playing.

Does A CONCACAF Team Make It Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: Probably not, Messicans have the best chance but I'll go with Croatia

MLS Predictions: N/A

MLS Cup: Sporting
U.S. Open Cup: Galaxy
Supporter's Shield: Toronto
Canadian Championship: Toronto

I definitely think Lopes will be one of the DPs. I'd much rather see someone like Huws be another DP than someone like Clichy or Barry to be honest.

Team: D.C. United

Best Case Scenario: MLS Cup and CONCACAF Champions League winners. It's happening...

In reality, a great season would be making the playoffs and knocking out NYRB. And not getting embarrassed in the Champions League.

Worst Case Scenario: It would be hard to be worse than last year. Thirteen losses in a row is quite a feat.

Recipe for another disaster - Young players aren't ready to step up, Pontius stays hurt, Johnson now paid/post-WC lacks motivation, Doyle slumps, new backline is even slower than it looks.

This team is certainly not built for more competitions. The Concacaf Champions League could be a bloodbath.

Fan Favorite: Not one player stands out significantly above the rest. Probably Hamid and Kitchen. Pontius if not for his inability to stay on the field.

Young Player To Look Out For On Your Team: There is a lot of young talent on the team. Only a few seasons ago Jalen Robinson was expected to go to Europe, but signed a HG contract. Michael Seaton has played internationally for Jamaica and is only 17. Seaton will have a tougher battle for time with Doyle and Johnson ahead of him. Though, Robinson has Franklin in front at RB. Both are probably a year or more away, but are names to keep an eye out for. Also worth keeping in mind that Perry Kitchen is still only 22 and Hamid is 23.

Though, one silver lining of the Champions League is there will be more minutes for all the younger players.

Player You Would Like To Drive To Another Club: There's been a major overhaul this off-season. I would say Chris Korb because he wears low socks and he's not really improved since his first season. But mainly because of the socks.

Opposition Player You Secretly Admire: I like a lot of other MLS players. Secretly? I guess Tony Tchani. Grew up in the tidewater area, went to UVA. Is still getting minutes, but certainly not where people expected to be. I'm rooting for him.

Opposition Player You Openly Despise: And the Steven Lenhart Award goes to...Steven Lenhart.

Do You Have The Right Owner: Do they still own the team?

Do You Have The Right Manager: Oof. At this point last year, it was an emphatic yes. Hard not to think the opposite now. Yet, they did win the US Open Cup. The tactical criticisms are valid and becoming more frequent. He can only be partially blamed for the roster situation, but it's not nearly excuse enough for how bad the team was last year. It's a tricky situation when the manager is a fan favorite. Don't want to see him fail, but things must get better.

What Advice Do You Have For The Manager: Find some consistency. Not necessarily in personnel, but in a system.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change At Your Club: New stadium.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change In MLS: A little more transparency would be nice. .

Where Will You Finish: Near the bottom of the East. Probably with the Crew and a team that disappoints(Union?).

Who Wins MLS Cup: Seattle did sign Kenny Cooper....Probably NYRB. Haven't put much thought into it.

Will An MLS Team Win The CONCACAF Champions League: Not this year.

Who Wins The World Cup: Brazil

Will The US Get Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: No.

Does A CONCACAF Team Make It Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: Wouldn't bet on it.

Charge on!
Team: Orlando City

Best Case Scenario: USL Pro Champs; US Open Cup semifinals

Worst Case Scenario: Not winning the USL Pro with a roster that has several MLS players on it

Fan Favorite: Kevin Molino. Trinidadian international at midfield; had a trial with PSV and I thought we'd lose him, but he's locked up for next year in MLS.

Young Player To Look Out For On Your Team: Darwin Ceren; captain of the El Salvador national team...his first season in the US; also Adama Mbengue, who has been called up to the Senegal U-23s and has a lot of pace. Still developing, but he'll be the first product of the Orlando City academy to be in MLS imo.

Player You Would Like To Drive To Another Club: There's a couple of guys on this year's roster that won't be there next year, but none I'd drive off right now.

Opposition Player You Secretly Admire: Jay Demerit. Just a fan of his character and style, even if he's not the greatest player around.

Opposition Player You Openly Despise: Eh. Not at this point.

Do You Have The Right Owner: Yep...two committed owners who are going to spend money to bring in a solid squad. Plus they've pretty much openly said they'll bring in Kaka next year, so that'll be awesome.

Do You Have The Right Manager: I think so. He's gotten offers to go back to England, so that tells me that he's doing the right things. We'll see if he's able to bring in the right players for MLS next year.

What Advice Do You Have For The Manager: Keep scouting for some hidden gems that can help us compete early; not sure these MLS cast-offs are going to get it done next season.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change At Your Club: Nothing big to complain about; I'd like them to make it easier for charities to set up booths at games. My mother works for a children's charity and wanted to set up a booth to recruit volunteers, and the club charges like $500 for that. The club itself is real involved in the community though.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change In MLS: Increase salaries for the entry-level and mid-tier players. (also liked the suggestion above that US players not count as DPs)

Where Will You Finish: USL Pro Champs, regular season and playoffs.

Who Wins MLS Cup: I feel like this is Seattle's year

Will An MLS Team Win The CONCACAF Champions League: Probably not, but I'd like to see this taken more seriously

Who Wins The World Cup: Argentina

Will The US Get Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: No.

Does A CONCACAF Team Make It Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: Mexico should, but they'll probably disappoint. Club America isn't good enough to beat Cameroon and Croatia, and we don't know if the new manager can integrate the European based players. So if I had to give a definitive answer, I say no.

Team: New England Revolution

Best Case Scenario: Young core (Rowe, Diego, Farrell, Caldwell) continues to progress, JoGo repeats his form from last season, and Bunbury recaptures his 2011 form and then some. Firm playoff team all year, and another deep run in the US Open.

Worst Case Scenario: Caldwell breaks down without any help, the other CB spot struggles while JoGo continues complaining about his contract, Bunbury gets injured and the youngsters never quite get on the same page. Neither Shuttlesworth nor Knighton play well, and the Revs finish last in the East, as those teams below them (DC, Philly, Toronto) improve tenfold.

Fan Favorite: Probably would be JoGo if not for the contract situation, so probably Diego Fagundez. Coming off a 13 goal, 7 assist season at age 18. Everybody will be hoping he stays around for at least a couple more years.

Young Player To Look Out For On Your Team: Scott Caldwell. Could go with a variety of guys here who might take the next step to all-star, but Caldwell has a calm presence on the ball and without another holding midfielder, he'll be vital to the success of the team. Akron product and HG signing, I think he could improve dramatically in his sophomore season.

Player You Would Like To Drive To Another Club: Jerry Bengston. I actually like him as a player for Honduras, but it hasn't translated at all for the Revs. 3 goals in 29 appearances for a DP is unacceptable. Hopefully he has a good showing at the World Cup and they ship him out.

Opposition Player You Secretly Admire: Matt Besler, although I'm not so secret about it. He shows that club > college > MLS model can still produce talent.

Opposition Player You Openly Despise: Since the last question was openly admire, I'm changing this one to secretly despise - Eddie Johnson. Is there a more average player that is more full of themselves?

Do You Have The Right Owner: Abso-fucking-lutely not. The Crafts refuse to invest into the team. Any and all talent that's come through New England has been American (sans Shalrie) and I'm not sure how many more times that can swing and miss on a foreign striker.

Do You Have The Right Manager: Definitely. Heaps is my boy.

What Advice Do You Have For The Manager: Get some consistency to the line-up. Seems like there was a new 11 every week.

What Is The One Thing You Would Change At Your Club: The owner

What Is The One Thing You Would Change In MLS: Scheduling, in a variety of ways. I don't mind the staggered game times so you can watch multiple games, but there needs to be come consistency in the tv coverage. In a given month, NBC will show a game at Saturday @ 2, Sunday @ 6, Saturday @ 9, and Sunday at 3. Makes it tough for the casual fan to take notice. It could definitely be balanced better, in terms of when teams play their games. We shouldn't have a four game difference with a month and a half to go. Also, last day should be played simultaneously.

Where Will You Finish: 6th in the east

Who Wins MLS Cup: Revs!!!

Will An MLS Team Win The CONCACAF Champions League: Yes - Sporting KC

Who Wins The World Cup: Brazil

Will The US Get Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: Yes

Does A CONCACAF Team Make It Out Of The Group Stage In Brazil: US and Mexico, both

Forgot about Milo's low sock hatred. I believe there was a time when Scott Parker was tucking in his jersey AND wearing low socks. SMH

Low socks can bother me, too. Hleb used to wear these tiny little socks and I thought he looked ridiculous. Bothered me for some reason

This.

No reason the MLS Cup rematch (Los Angeles-Houston) should be at 11:00 PM ET on a Sunday Night. I don't even see how that time even makes sense for fans attending the game.

The regular referees have been locked out. Depending on your point of view, this could be a good or bad thing.

The league has decided to make a change to its playoff format, and therefore make shit suck, by following the rest of the world's lead by making use of away goals.

My Magee jersey should arrive on Tuesday. The best part is, MLS honored (thanks to an email to their customer service department) the price drop that occurred between when I ordered it and when it shipped, so I'm going to get $30 of the purchase refunded.

Of course, this wouldn't have been an issue if I'd just waited to order it after the new jerseys had been released, but what's done is done.

More great finishes out West. Los Angeles gets a very questionable penalty in injury time. Rimando guesses right on Keane and Salt Lake escapes 1-0.

Portland equalizes off a corner in injury time. Gaston Fernandez left criminally unmarked inside the 6. 1-1 it ends.

It looked like LA was getting the benefit of the doubt on most of the whistles last night. And still lost.

They played okay, but couldn't finish. The only letdown period was a mini stretch when RSL had a goal called back (still not sure why), and then scored for real a minute or two later. Shameful defending in both instances.

United lost 3-0. To the Crew. At Home. Bill Hamid committed a handball on a ball he dropped. One shot on target in the first 60 or so minutes. Jeff Parke wore low socks.

Great start to the season!

Despite the amount of one-sided scorelines, it was a good opening day for MLS. Lots of goals and the best game might have been Portland/Union that ended 1-1. The worst game, as per rule, was the game on national TV.

Fucking seriously? I waited four months for this?

Thanks to Chivas, Chicago won't finish last in attendance this year. Might have to break out some other jerseys in my collection seeing that I'm not wearing Fire shit this year.

If I'm Sean Johnson, i'm looking for a way out in the summer. This is the worst backline in the league. I shudder to think of the bad things Portland is going to do to the Fire next week.

Voted for the round one. The shape on the first one is weird.

Basically, you are just voting on what shape you want the monogram on.
