They almost did too. Lawl. Struggling with Wofford, Tulane, and Georgia Southern late is awful. Virginia Tech is gonna cruise next week.

I will say, I am more confident in having Justin Thomas as their QB than I was with Vad Lee. Plus him and Smelter are an awesome combo.

NC State @ Clemson this Saturday at 3:30. Clemson is a 14.5 point favorite. Seems like a lot of points after the way that State played last week. I think that Clemson wins but it is going to be a dogfight. My hope is that State lets the FSU game beat them twice.

State doesn't have the defense to hang with FSU/Clemson. Offense seems to be enough...but Clemson, like FSU, will get enough stops for their offense to carve us up enough to pull out the win.

NCST seems to beat FSU then drops 4 of their next 6. I think Clemson is the better team now you have a real QB. NCST surprised us with some stuff they didnt show on film. Guys were out of position. And we turned it over in our red zone in the 1st qtr to pile it on. Once we got our defense aligned correctly and limited our turnovers in the red zone we outscored them 49-17.

I would be more certain about outcome if our defense wasn't doing this Jeckyll & Hyde thing this season. One moment we look really stout and the next we are getting gashed for big yards because we are out of position.

They played this on the screens in between the 3rd & 4th quarters last Saturday. It got the crowd really fired up. The athletic department has really stepped it's game up when comes to media like this. I am sure that you guys don't care since it it deals with Clemson. Ha Ha Since I am the only Clemson fan here, there isn't a Clemson thread to post it in.

Turned it on and it was already 21-0, then promptly turned it off. Saved me a lot of anguish.

Now I don't know what to think. Feel they oughta beat Wake and Syracuse at least, that's 6 wins and a shitty bowl

Nc state looking to wrap up a strong recruiting class. Pulled 4*OT Emanuel McGirt and 4*DE Darian Roseboro a couple weeks ago, just got 4*ATH Nyheim Hines and should get 4*CB Mike Hughes on Monday. Then all of their attention will be put on 4*RB Johnny Frasier who those close to his situation feel is looking good for State.

Pretty much everyone was saying it including people close to mike. Oh well, can't read the minds of 18 year olds. If he wants to go play for a coach who he met with for 3 hours and the coach never even told him that the DC was fired...then that place is where he belongs.

Huge weekend for State. 4* RB Johnny Frasier flips from FSU and commits to State. Emmanuel Olenga, a highly athletic DE who has only played one year of football commits to State over an offer from Nebraska. Also, it seems we have garnered a commitment from 4* 2016 CB James Valdez from SC.

If Deshaun Watson stays healthy Clemson. If not then it is up in the air imo. GT would probably be the next pick. FSU is going to be really young. I think we take a step back for the year.

Matt Canada gone as OC at NC State. Good riddance. Our most dynamic offensive player got 3 touches in the bowl game. THREE. Two of those he took in for touchdowns. Was a theme all year.

Offensive Line Coach Uremovich to NIU to become Offensive Coordinator. Offensive coaching staff getting an overhaul this offseason it looks like.

NC State hires Boise State OC Eliah Drinkwitz to be its new Offensive Coordinator. Gus Malzahn disciple. Coached under him at Arkansas State. Excited to see what he can bring this year.
