I figure Julien and Hitchcock end up in Florida and LV respectively. Boston either keeps their interim or hires Gallant. One reason Gallant was fired from Florida was because the Front Office wanted to go speed and skill and Gallant dug his heels in for size and grit. Seems like somebody that Boston would like in their coach.

It's almost like the playoffs can be a coin flip at times. One of those was when Halak stole two series from the two best teams in the East.
Looking back at those teams, I'm amazed they finished first so many times. Jose Theodore was their goalie

I'm no Don Cherry, but it certainly seems like Anaheim choked pretty hard under Boudreau.

2 out of the 4 years in the West he lost to the team that went to the cup final. The West was a bloodbath for years prior to this season.


Boudreau is a top 5 coach in the league (including the recent firings)
