I think both Belichek and Sean Payton have extremely benefited from their HOF record setting QBs. Their reputations as coaches took a little too much credit for good QB play for about a decade after the game passed them by as coaches. Even in Bradys last years in New England, everyone thought he was done. This was probably on coaching. The league is now and forever owned by former Dynasty and Franchise nerds like Mike McDaniel.
