We turn the calendar to March with four games. We play Aston Villa, Sunderland, Stoke City -- all winnable games -- before we face Manchester City. I expect our next FA Cup game will be scheduled this month, too.

March also marks a return to my national team, Denmark, as we have two more qames in European Qualifying.

The fifth round replays have been played and we now know we host Arsenal in the FA Cup Quarterfinals later this month. Yuck.

In other Quarterfinals Manchester United plays Liverpool, Burnley plays Swansea City and Chelsea plays Cardiff City. Why couldn't we draw Cardiff City?

I knew the loss to Aston Villa was going to have consequences. This is the e-mail I received from the Board.

Is it possible I'm going to get fired from a club for the second time in two years?

Naturally, I turned to Lescott who is responsible for this mess.

If I'm back next season, he certainly won't be. He's a declining asset at 32 and deserves some of the blame for all the goals we're allowing.

Time for a break from club football to resume my national managerial career at Denmark.
We play Switzerland next at home which is a must win game in European Qualifying, especially considering we play Germany after that.

We're in a world of trouble with three games left. Our next game is against Germany. If we lose and Switzerland wins we're toast.

You can see the problem for my Denmark. One more win by Switzerland eliminates Denmark no matter what I do in my final two games.

But the Swiss face Ireland and Germany. It's likely they lose to Germany. If they only draw Ireland then I have to win my final two games to take second spot. That's not inconceivable since I play Bulgaria and Norway.

There's a long break before I play those games.

It's time to return to West Brom as we try to push up the table as far as possible and retain my job for next season.

We have 10 games remaining and no Cup competitions to distract us. Let's get this done!

Well, maybe not this next game against Citeh. That's probably not going to happen. Maybe starting like the game after that. LOL.

The calendar turns to April. You know what that means: Lots of games in the rain!

Hopefully, we don't slip and slide our way out of the league.

We play QPR, Leicester City Crystal Palace, Liverpool and then the schedule gets really rough. Three of our final four games in April and May are against Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal so the next three games are critical.

West Bromwich vs Stoke City, League Game 30

It turns out I had one more game in March on March 31, just three days after our last game.

So he's going to miss our next two games against QPR and Leicester City. He might also miss the Crystal Palace match.

I wonder if it would have made a difference if I subbed him as soon as he got hurt rather than play him the whole game?

Varela's nine goals are second on the team only to Brown Ideye. But at age 30, his ratings are in decline and I doubt we'll complete a transfer for him once his loan from Porto ends.

Whoa! WHOA! Time for the Board to back down!

This kid has been invisible when he's played this year but with his ratings rising we need to keep him for next season. He has the potential to be great. Let's give him that raise. He's only make $25,000 a week right now.

I can't blame him for being upset. We spent $2M to acquire him in the Winter Transfer Market and we've left him to rot on the bench. He's just going to have to wait until next season as Stark has really played well in the role of young central defender.

We've barely played Alonso after acquiring him in the winter transfer window and now he goes out and gets hurt. Come on, man!

It took some work but we got young Berahino under contract for two more years at $45,000 a week. He better play better next year and earn it.

The final month. It feels like this season has gone on forever.

Can I make a run and finish in the top 10?

We finish with Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal. Not exactly easy. All are in the top seven.
