FSU - "F Her RIght in the Crab Legs"

The ironic part about that was OLeary saved that guy from being absolutely drilled by Matias. Matias was coming full speed for that guy and put his head down. 325 pounds head first would had left a mark.

Meh game felt closer than it was. Our defense actually played pretty good. But holy christ the turnovers. Also everything sounded dead. The crowd, the team. Seemed like we slept walk through this win. Worried about Miami. Not sure we can stop a running team.

It's in the best interest of FSU to move that date back and let Winston ride off into the sunset. It lets FSU look like they tried, but the player wouldn't cooperate, and it let's Winston avoid creating any paper trail that could be used against him later. I doubt this happens before Jan, which means it won't happen at all.

I still struggle to understand why it should happen at all. When did FSU become a law enforcement organization?

I mean as far as I can tell, the basic function of these Title IX inquisitions is to take a second crack at accused people without all that burdensome process the full legal system demands. But it's still a state institution, they're still trying to infringe on his liberty interests. This doesn't seem OK.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but isn't this some sort of honor board/ administrative hearing? When Winston enrolled, he agreed to abide by a code of conduct, which one can only assume includes sexual assault. The hearing is to determine if he violated that code and to recommend a punishment (expulsion), right? If Winston is worried about opening himself up to criminal prosecution by participating in the hearing, he should just withdraw from school.

Even if it isn't true, that's why you never trust anyone. And you definitely never use social media

I heard about this the other day. Given that the source of this is supposedly the gambling site itself. I will await further inquiry from journalists. At this point it wouldnt surprise me. But this is the kind of story ESecPN would be all over if it had any validity.

For an F.S.U. Football Player, a Hit and Run Becomes Traffic Ticket

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — In the early-morning hours of Oct. 5, as this college town was celebrating another big football victory by Florida State University, a starting cornerback on the team drove his car into the path of an oncoming vehicle driven by a teenager returning home from a job at the Olive Garden.

Both cars were totaled. But rather than remain at the scene as the law requires, the football player, P. J. Williams, left his wrecked vehicle in the street and fled into the darkness along with his two passengers, including Ronald Darby, the team’s other starting cornerback.

The Tallahassee police responded to the off-campus accident, eventually reaching out to the Florida State University police and the university’s athletic department.
By the next day, it was as if the hit and run had never happened.

The New York Times looked into how the police handled this case, reviewing law enforcement records and interviewing witnesses, lawyers, the police and a university representative. The examination found that Mr. Williams, driving with a suspended license, was given a break by the Tallahassee police, who initially labeled the accident a hit and run, a criminal act, but later decided to issue him only two traffic tickets. Afterward, the case did not show up in the city’s public online database of police calls — a technical glitch, the police said.

Mr. Williams eventually returned to the scene. But Tallahassee officers did not test him for alcohol. Nor did their report indicate whether they asked if he had been drinking or why he had fled, logical questions since the accident occurred at 2:37 a.m. The report also minimized the impact of the crash on the driver of the other car, Ian Keith, by failing to indicate that his airbag deployed — an important detail because Mr. Keith said in an interview that the airbag had cut and bruised his hands.
The university police, who lacked jurisdiction, nevertheless sent two ranking officers — including the shift commander — to the scene. Yet they wrote no report about their actions that night. Florida State dismissed the role of its officers in the incident as too minor to require a report or enter into their own online police log, comparing it to an instance when campus officers responded to a baby opossum falling from a tree.

I'm sure they tried real hard to make a solid case against Jameis.

No no no. Remember how the insiders told us that Tallahassee PD hates FSU football and trumps up charges against them all the time? SOURCES

Plenty of rape to go around at tennesee recently, why choose just lanes?

I do like the outrage at 2 blacks getting treated like normal white people in traffic accident though. Real consistent with the political forum beliefs you'll have haha.

Anyways bash away :)

In what world are "normal white people" with suspended licenses just given a traffic ticket after fleeing the scene of an accident? Or aren't suspected of DUI at 2:30 in the morning when they cause an accident and run away?

Meh my sister had a drunk plow through about 5 cars in a parking lot where she was a waitress, including hers. The cops went to his place and he refused to cooperate. No charges brought. Maybe Mak can answer how these traffic incidents are handled.

Tomorrow game is scary for me. I felt last year when miami was running the ball the game stayed close. When they started passing we pulled ahead of them without looking back. Been a few years since Miami worried me.

I haven't elevated my game to include superstitious team threads (Miami) law expertise (flazzu) or "fuck u but I respect u" levels. I apologize.

Beep boop indeed.

Footbaw fan culture too complex. Doesn't compute.

Please take up your respect angle with someone who respects Miamis fans or program. I do not.

The players seem to respect each other. Except mak who calls them animals lol.

I win this game no matter what, today is like Christmas for me.

oh he had it right, i just figured id play it up before the game, and brick being brick is funny to watch but he needs fuel. That being said, i still root for miami to lose every game unless they are playing UF or maybe ND or someone. I do not like them all and fuck miami is as traditional as their chanting fuck the seminoles since the late 70s.

miami alumni are really cool dudes and fun to tailgate with. The gutter trash that makes up 80% of their fanbase are disgusting though.
