Boys, I was on my iPad a few days ago when I saw an article on Jameis in Tampa and wondered, "how far is it between Tampa and Tallahassee?" Being lazy, I just put "Tallahassee" into Google Maps and was going to figure it out from there.

Cook found not guilty tonight. Another Meggs prosecution that ends in a quick(28 min) not guilty verdict.

Cook has 792 yards 8 TDs through 5 games. And basically missed the entire WF game. Provided he can stay healthy Cook will obliterate Dunns single season rushing record.

Trey Marshall out. That is a huge loss in our defensive secondary. I hope they can find somebody other than Tyler Hunter to play at his spot. Hunter is an effing safety in the truest sense. Not a guy that can cover the best receivers on the other team. I found it rather amusing after getting benched his replacement which is a 5th year walk on senior that finally earned a scholarship last summer made an interception.

Anyways, chances that James will move to that spot??? Or will we suffer through more 3rd and longs being completed to Hunters guy?

James did some cross training there in spring. He plays like an animal I wouldmy mind that.

It's ok if he gets beat every once in a while as a freshman when he makes up for It with huge plays. Instead of watching 5th year senior do nothing at all on the field.

Tavares McFadden maybe could play cb and slide Jalen back to star but honestly derwin is much better at blitzing than Jalen ever was from that spot.

How concerned should I be about Everett Golsten when these two teams play? Is he actually improving or does he look as lost as he did in the BC game?

He has improved a lot in the past 2 games. The playbook is being opened up and our offense is coming to life. Best is he has been unbelievably good at not turning the ball over. And he is playing much smarter in not taking sacks. Last game UL could had sacked him 3-4 times but he used his legs to throw the ball away.

Think about this. We haven't turned the ball over once on offense through 6 games. By the time we roll into the Swamp he should be firing on all cylinders. Our offensive line is where our problems start. Still moving and inserting guys into the rotation.

That is the game right there. Just one TD and we win. Our red zone offense is one of the worst in the league. Major work needs to be done there. When we cant score from 1st and goal from the 2 against GT we have major issues.

On a positive note we can still play for an ACC championship if we win out. And Cook passed the 1000 yard mark.

Fuuuu Dalvin is out this week with an ankle injury. Pender is not ready. Marquez White is also out with a concussion he suffered in practice.

Im always worried. Having Cook out takes a significant part of our already meager offense off the table. It will be interesting to see how Patrick performs as the starter. I am surprised we havent seen more of him given Pender has been out for a month.

Patrick with 224 total yards and 3 TDs today. Not bad for a true freshman in his first start. Expect to see more of him next week vs Clemson.

Disappointed in the second half we didnt work the run more. The game was close until 2 mins left. Patrick and Cook could had worn down that defense. Give us great motivation for next year.

Cook is 9 yards away from beating Dunns single season record.
