What I took away from last night's game is Florida State is who we thought they were: a good but not great team that does enough to win ball games. Louisville really played a great game, but Patrino called a terrible second half. Running the ball on 3rd & 21 early in the fourth and throwing two passes on a critical drive when you only need two yards will lose a ball game for you.
I honestly forgot about Michael Dyer after he was cut from Arkansas State a few years back. Based on last night, he is going to make a good draft pick for someone. He reminds me a lot of Arian Foster.

Was just thinking about how less than 10 years ago, we had Frank Broyles telling us that he and many "experts" felt that Gus Malzahn's offense would not work in the SEC, and that's why Arkansas was playing Casey Dick and handing off to the backs in a pro-style instead of running the wide-open offense Malzahn was allegedly hired to install (instead being hired just to get some recruits). Oops.

Florida state reminds me of 2009 Florida. Heisman winner back but there's alot of talent lost and while they are good enough to beat most teams it's not near what they were the year before.

Ah fuck Brad Praisley....reminds me of this:
At a house party, one of co-workers husbands is there. We're talking, he asks where I'm from, "West Virginia" I reply. He says, oh really, you know, one of my favorite artists is Brad Paisely, he's from West Virginia. Then he goes on to tell some story about going to a brad paisely concert, this dude is mid 50's at least. I don't even remember the details of the story, maybe he met brad preistly. Idk. anyway, he's one of those longwinded story tellers....probably how @Travis7401 would be in real life.
Fast forward several months. We have a work outing on one of those casino cruises...same dude is there....he asks me where I'm from. I tell him "west virginia" with bewilderment in my eyes. He goes on to tell the same fucking story starting with "yeah one of my favoirte artists..."
I believe he had some kind of autograph picture of paisely on his mantle at home or some shit was one of the centerpieces of the story.
