2060 Season Thread

It's Yankee again with useless no-hitter stats!

CSU SP Ethan Thurman tossed one today for the Rams vs. Arizona, the first no-no since Juan Munoz (Oslo/Rutgers, now Waco Goats) threw one in 2058. Thurman posted identical stats, 3 walks and 9ks, to Munoz's numbers. It's also the first no-no since the NCAA rebranding, making Colorado State the first school ever to throw a no-no. Congratulations @Hamilton @Travis7401SUCKSDICK!

Thurman will be draft eligible in 2062, but most likely won't receive much love due to his fragility and poor sophomore season.

Actually pretty excited for this offseason, not sure where to spend my cash with so many good FA out there. Probably affects my team's future for the next 4+ years.
Am also excited. I have 113 million to spend on IFA. I went all in on stocking up for the future, I sure hope it's a good group.

He ain't even doing the maths right either, lol, not sure how he got 90M based on what is on the website....

180M budget + 10M Cash = 190M

- 74.7M Payroll

=115M CAP SPACE (@Mr. Radpants). That's how much you got for FA, IFA, DEV, Scouting, and Draft based on the website.

Here you mongolloyds go:

"Cap Space" is the amount of money you have to do everything else for the year (not just FA). This includes draft budget, IFA, FA, Scouting, and Dev.

Lol @Schauwn sticking his heir with -10M cash  Can a new Kings Conquistador get a helicopter payment @OU11?

It's amazing how much money is free this year, even considering most people probably have roughly $30M tied up in Draft/Scouting/Dev.

Fucking Lloyd with an $11M current payroll?

That doesn't include my scouting, dev, or draft budget, which would drop that 59 by 23 to 36 or so

By the way, I had like -25M in cash last year, so it's not a death sentence

Can you fuckin read? Or did you just ignore that entire part of my post?

I can't see what anyone's draft/scouting/dev budgets are, so that's why I use "CAP SPACE" which is based on information that is readily available. It includes Dev, Scouting, Draft, FA, and IFA.

I think @doh had the most negative cash I've ever seen that one year he power tanked. Something like -40M, lol.

He does have about 90m to spend, unless he wants to dip into S&D Budget, which is about 20m doing the math. He can do that, of course, and sometimes we do. I dipped into mine last year for FA. I could pull another 10m out of mine too, however you don't usually have to dip in much, which is why the 90m is about right.

You should not being running two teams in the offseason. That is not right. Helping him set some rosters while running another teams is already a gray area. This is too far. If Bruin doesn't want to play, or be involved, that is fine, but another manager should not be running both teams and doing the offseason.

If he knows what the other guy wants and is making the offers, it's a competitive disadvantage. I was going to say something during the year, but I figured Travis was just helping Bruin out during the tech difficulties. It doesn't matter much if someone is just setting rosters, although they are in the same league and play each other a lot. However, it seems now that Bruin is either unable or uninterested in running the team (is it still a technical issue?), and Travis is putting the offers in. If Bruin doesn't want to run the team, that is fine, he can let it sit like Bdub did. It's not alright that Travis is really running two teams (in the same league even), and even worse when he is running both offseasons too. He knows too much about what the other guy is offering. Is he really going to compete over the same player the way other managers would? Come on, that's not right.

This is infinitely better than letting a team sit.

You are missing the point Woo Lee. He cannot export because his game is broke dick, so I follow his instructions and export for him. My post was complaining that he didn't send me any instructions so I wasn't exporting (ie I'm specifically NOT running his off season). I was lamenting his lack of effort.

Also, ur a cry babby.
