About ready to write off the Padres this year. I think the "SLAM DIEGO" thing is in the process of regressing to the mean, and Lamet lasted two innings today before "forearm tightness." Clevinger is already out, Lamet will likely be the second Tommy John surgery this week for the team, and Tatis is going to keep going 0-5 until they sit him and force him to have surgery.
The Rockies take a 2-run lead in the 6th (two days ago)thanks to a timely double by C.J cron!

Something like 25% of the last 35 Tommy John surgeries in all of MLB have been to Padres players.
It could be an incredibly bad bit of bad luck/coincidence, but there are definitely rumblings that the training/medical approach is not really up to par. Gore has not progressed like he should, and while I suppport bringing him along slowly if the alternative is having him be another casualty of the training approach, more arms will be needed by summer, without a doubt.
The left on base thing is definitely a regression to the mean from last year. I saw a tweet that called the Padres "LOB City" and had a good laugh, lol
