Copa Libertadores Round of 16 teams:

Argentina:

Argentinos Juniors
Boca Juniors
Defensa y Justica
Racing Club
River Plate
Velez Sarsfield

Brazil:

Atletico Miniero
Flamengo
Fluminense
Internacional
Palmeiras
São Paulo

Chile:

Universidad Catolica

Ecuador:

Barcelona

Paraguay:

Cerro Porteno
Olimpia

Basically dominated by Argentina and Brazil with only one team from the northern part of the continent.

From a pure sporting perspective it’s shocking to see Colombia go a third year without getting someone to the knockout stage as it’s generally considered the 3rd biggest league in CONMEBOL. It’s not that shocking considering the turmoil right now.

Pep overthinking it yet again. See how the control of the midfield right away when Fernandinho came on.

Ok. The Ligue Deux table I looked at made it look like a four team playoff.

The table looked like this:

1
2
———
3
4
5
———
6

EDIT: Never mind, it’s structured differently. 4 hosts 5 and then 3 hosts the winner and the winner of that plays the Ligue Une side.
As as it stands, Nantes are in the driver's seat to return to the league but it's still wide-open.
