Lol, San fran drafted a guy who was suspended for the 2014 season opener and then kicked off the team in November of 2014 and THEN broke into an ex teammates apartment in Feb of 2015. Lol

Miami's draft so far:
1. LT Laremy Tunsil - We all know his story. Elite-level LT that slipped due to that badass gas mask bong rip. Thanks to whoever leaked it. Miami thanks you. Will likely play LG with Branden Albert and Ju'Wuan James staying at tackle.

2. Xavien Howard - Big, tall press corner that fits Miami's man or zone-press schemes. I wanted Mackensie Alexander because he's the superior CB but size matters to these NFL folks. Seems likely to start across from Byron Maxwell.

3. Kenyan Drake - This one kind of surprised me but I had heard Miami was in love with the kid. They like his ability out of the backfield and on special teams. Seems destined for 10-15 touches a game behind Jay Ajayi. Risky pick with more complete backs like Dixon, Booker and Collins behind him. Time will tell.

4. Leonte Carroo - One of the best route-runners in the draft. Pro-ready according to most scouts/gurus. We gave up a lot to trade up (6th this season + 3/4 next) so hopefully he contributes this season.

It seems like a pretty good draft so far although Miami's down to a 5th and 2 7th's remaining after the trade-up's for Howard and Carroo.
Can't wait to put drake in the slot an watch people try an cover him with line backers

Are the Saints the only team that still utilize the fb?

Holy hell, Mike Tannenbaum is laughable. On the rich Eisen show just said that they looked into laremy tunsils past and thought his behavior was acceptable and that he's going to be a great citizen in miami.

Hahahaha

Hahahaha

Which behaviors are unacceptable?

Multiple suspensions, accepting improper benefits, filming yourself smoking through a gas mask. Whether you think those are unacceptable or not is your opinion. Either way, it's stupid and shows a lack of brainpower

I'd at least want medical bills covered for when my spleen gets ruptured on the first real hit on this out of shape 38 year old body.

I don't know what is worse or more useless, draft grades or mock 2017 drafts the day after the 2016 draft is over.

Getting back to this before I ignore the libertarian thread some more... I love Dan Kadar because no matter what, when, or who... he's a point of reference. Mocking the draft is somewhat legitimate in the sense that it gets a shit ton of exposure through sbnation and the comments sections(s).

So, whether or not the draft grades are relevant, or if mocks are accurate, it just acts as a place for me to start where I know there will be some semblance of cross-referenced information presented.

If you like the draft, then draft grades are a point of reference, no? if you don't like following the draft, then I don't think any of the constructs draft writers use (mocks) are going to make you happy. If there is another way that I am missing, please share.

you say it's dumb, but I marvel at some of the insight from writers who follow the picks 24/7/365. What is the problem with that?

I get it from their perspective, but from mine as a reader, 90% of them are dumb, or useless. Yes there are good ones out there, that provide relevant information, that are good reads. But I don't want to sift through them all to find them.

Yes information is good, so then give me information. Write about next years class and how it is great with position A or player A will be top 5, etc. Tell me about the Jrs who will probably skip their Sr year. But going through the motions of lolBrowns will pick 1 and Titans 2, seems dumb to me. Since 1, nobody knows where anyone will draft, and 2, what their needs will turn out being.

I don't know much about Kessler so when the Browns picked him I looked up some "grades". By far the best was the F given because Hugh Jackson was showing praise to USC. This is not analysis, this tells me nothing about the player. It servers basically no purpose at all. And grades are not a point of reference when the grades range from A - F. I've seen grades on Corey Coleman from an A to a D. So it really doesn't provide anything in and of itself. But

OUT with the GOUT
Kessler has seen the field more than Goff. Of course, seeing the field in Cleveland is the beginning of the end for you if you're a QB.
